Shipping policy
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed through bareayr.co.za (the "Store"), operated by Ayres Ecommerce Enterprises South Africa (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2021/902135/07), trading as "Bare" ("Bare", "we", "us", "our"). By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms of this Shipping Policy, which forms part of our Terms of Service.
We process orders within 1 business day of payment confirmation (Monday to Friday, excluding South African public holidays). Orders placed after 12:00 SAST, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed on the next business day. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.
We currently ship to addresses within the Republic of South Africa. If you'd like to enquire about delivery to an address outside South Africa, please contact us before placing your order. Estimated delivery times after dispatch are 2–4 business days for major metro areas (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban) and 3–7 business days for regional and outlying areas. Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Once an order has been handed to our courier partner, the delivery is subject to the courier's schedule and conditions.
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the size and weight of your order, and the exact shipping cost will be displayed before you complete your purchase. [OPTIONAL — INSERT IF APPLICABLE: Free shipping is available on orders over R[INSERT THRESHOLD].]
Once your order has been dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number by email which you can use to track your delivery on our courier partner's website. If you haven't received a tracking number within 2 business days of placing your order, please contact us at hello@bareayr.co.za.
Once we transfer your order to our courier partner, risk of loss and damage in transit passes to you, and title in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the address provided at checkout. It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout, and we are not liable for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by you. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, a failed delivery attempt, or because it was unclaimed, you will be liable for the cost of re-shipping the order.
We are not liable for delivery delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to courier delays, loadshedding, courier strikes, severe weather, port or transport disruptions, public holidays, or other force majeure events as set out in our Terms of Service. In the event of a significant delay, we will contact you as soon as reasonably practicable.
If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us at hello@bareayr.co.za within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of the damage and your order number, and we will work with our courier partner to resolve the issue and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate. If your parcel is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please contact us within 7 days so we can investigate with the courier.
