Returns & Refunds
We want you to be happy with your Bare order. Here's how returns work.
30-day return window
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return on unopened, unused product in its original packaging.
To be eligible:

Product must be unopened, unused, and in saleable condition

Original packaging and seals must be intact

You must include your order number or proof of purchase
To start a return, email us at sam@bareayr.co.za. Returns sent to us without prior approval cannot be accepted.

Who pays for return shipping
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility for change-of-mind returns. If your order is defective, damaged, or incorrect, Bare covers the return courier in full.
Supplements: opened products cannot be returned
For health, safety, and regulatory reasons, we cannot accept returns on supplement products that have been opened or used. Once a tub or sachet seal is broken, the product cannot be legally resold. Please inspect your order on arrival before opening.
Damaged, defective or wrong items
Please inspect your order on delivery and contact us within 7 days at hello@bareayr.co.za if the product is damaged, defective, or incorrect. We'll resolve it quickly — replacement, refund, or store credit, your choice.
Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act
In addition to our 30-day policy, the South African Consumer Protection Act (Section 56) gives you a 6-month implied warranty on goods being of good quality and fit for purpose. If a product fails to meet this standard within 6 months of delivery, you're entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. Contact us at hello@bareayr.co.za and we'll handle it directly.

The fastest way to get a different product is to request a return for your current item, and place a new order separately once the return is approved.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of approval within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5 business days. Bank processing times may add 2-5 days on top.
